Matichon’s Managing Director said that Matichon had organized this seminar entitled “Technology of the Future: The Way Forward for 5G in Thailand” as it acknowledges that 5G is important for the country’s development. “Thailand had announced that it would move forward with 5G in 2020 which raises questions as to whether 5G will actually happen in Thailand or not and whether it will be available by 2020?”

Mr. Thakoon said that this seminar would raise public awareness about how the progress of 5G development and whether Thailand can have this technology or not, its timeframe, and about any obstacles that may arise. And, if there are obstacles, how can we overcome them? “For every question, there should be an answer during the seminar and we hope the seminar content will be useful to help Thailand to roll out 5G technology on target,” Mr. Thakoon said.
