On February 11, the General Manager of Matichon Plc Thakoon Boonparn disclosed that on February 23 Matichon will organize a seminar entitled ” 5G Moving Thailand In The Changing World ” from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at Infinity Ballrooms 1-2 at the Pullman Kingpower Hotel in Soi Rangnam.
The seminar will be honored with an opening address by General Sukit Khamasundara, Chairman of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), while the President of Huawei, a leading telecommunications equipment manufacturer and operator, and the President of Ericsson, a leader in information technology and communications, will discuss the direction of 5G.
In addition, the Secretary General of the NBTC Takorn Tantasith will give a keynote speech entitled “5G changes the world and will transform Thailand” when he will explain how 4G Changes Life and 5G Changes Society while two experts from Huawei will also make addresses. Huawei’s 5G Marketing Expert Zhou Dongfei will speak about 5G Global Development Trends while Deputy Director of Huawei’s 5G Industry Development Department Lu Liming will address the topic “4G Changes Life, 5G Changes Society”.
In addition, a speaker from Ericsson will also explain how “5G moves the World Forward” and a speaker from Qualcomm, the manufacturer of integrated circuits for wireless communications in mobile devices such as processors or CPUs and mobile chipsets, will address “How to be Ready for 5G?”
Participants will learn about the evolution from 2G to 5G with a preview of the prototypes of the innovation and technology that is evolving from 4G to 5G and about the usage model for 5G which will change daily lives, work and communications in the near future.
The technology can transform various industries, from facilitating transportation, communcations, education, healthcare and other service sectors including the preparedness of consumers and businesses for 5G.
