ลิเดีย ศรัณย์รัชต์ ได้ทำการทดลองตรวจหาภูมิในเลือดแบบ Rapid test โดยใช้เลือดของตัวเองและสามี คือ แมทธิว ดีน ที่เคยป่วยเป็นโควิด-19 เมื่อปีที่ผ่านมา และเลือดคุณพ่อของน้องเขยที่ได้รับวัคซีน Moderna แบบครบโดสจากต่างประเทศ โดยเธอเล่าว่า
“คุณพ่อของน้องเขย (จอห์น) เป็นคนเดียวในบ้านที่ได้รับการฉีด #วัคซีน Moderna จากต่างประเทศอย่างครบโดส และเดียกับพี่แมทก็เคยติดเชื้อเมื่อปีที่แล้ว ด้วยความสงสัยวันนี้เราเลยลองทำการตรวจหาภูมิในเลือดแบบ Rapid test การตรวจแบบนี้จะโชว์ได้ว่าในเลือดเรามีภูมิสู้ไวรัสโควิด-19 ไหม และผลที่ได้ก็น่าสนใจดีค่ะ เส้นขีดสีแดงๆ ขึ้นแปลว่า เราทั้ง 3 คนมีภูมิอยู่ในเลือด แต่ของเดียน้อยสุด เพราะว่าเห็นจางๆ ของเดียกับพี่แมทผ่านมาเป็นปี ก็ยังพอมีขึ้นให้เห็น ของพ่อน้องเขยก็ต้องมีแน่ๆ ตามคาด เพราะได้รับวัคซีนไปเมื่อไม่นานนี้ ปกติภูมิจะอยู่แค่ประมาณ 6 เดือน แต่ถึงตอนนี้จะตรวจแล้วเจอภูมิบ้าง ก็ไม่รู้ว่าจะปกป้องเราจากเชื้อใหม่ได้หรือเปล่า อันนี้ไม่กล้าทำการทดลอง 😅 ก็อยู่บ้านกันไปยาวๆ ค่ะ ผลตรวจ PCR ของทั้ง 3 คนก็เป็นลบจากวันที่ 11 เมษายน ค่ะ แปลว่าไม่ได้ติดเชื้ออยู่ ณ ปัจจุบัน
ตามที่คุณหมออธิบาย ร่างกายเราจะผลิตภูมิคุ้มกัน 2 ชนิดเพื่อสู้กับโควิด-19 ซึ่งก็คือ IgM กับ IgG
ถ้าติดเชื้อในระยะแรกก็จะมีภูมิ IgM อย่างเดียวหรือทั้ง IgM และ IgG แต่ถ้าผ่านมาระยะนึงก็จะเจอแค่ IgG และก็จะค่อยๆ ลดและหายไปตามกาลเวลา
My sister’s father in law, John, is the only one in the family who got vaccinated with Moderna for #COVID19 in the states and Matthew and I were infected in March last year. So out of curiosity, we performed Rapid tests today to find out if we had antibodies present in our blood. The results were quite interesting. As expected, John had antibodies present in his blood because he was vaccinated. What came as a surprise is the fact that Matthew and I also had some present in our blood now even though it has been over a year since our infection! They say antibodies usually last around 6 months. Not sure if this protects us from new strains of the virus though! We do not want to test that out! Our recent PCR results from April 11th, 2021 all came back as negative so we do not have a current infection.
The doctors told us that there are two types of antibodies that the body produces to fight Covid-19, which are IgM and IgG. During the first stage of infection, the IgM antibody will be present or both IgM and IgG will be present. The IgG antibody usually shows up during the later stages. Antibodies start decreasing and disappear over time. #QuarantineScienceDay
