‘ปลาจู๋’ โผล่เกลื่อนชายหาดที่แคลิฟอร์เนีย

สำนักข่าวเอเอฟพีรายงานว่า “หนอนช้อน” หรือที่รู้จักกันในชื่อ “ปลาจู๋” จำนวนหลายพันตัว ถูกซัดมาเกยฝั่งบริเวณชายหาดเดรกส์ ห่างจากตอนเหนือของนครซานฟรานซิสโก รัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย สหรัฐอเมริกา ราว 80 กิโลเมตร สร้างความแตกตื่นให้แก่ผู้ที่พบเห็นอย่างมาก

ข่าวระบุว่า หนอนช้อนดังกล่าว ถูกเรียกว่าปลาจู๋ เนื่องจากรูปร่างหน้าตาที่คลายกับอวัยวะเพศของผู้ชาย โดยปกติแล้ว ปลาจู๋เหล่านี้มักจะขุดรูอยู่ตามชายหาดและหนองบึงต่างๆ เพื่อใช้เป็นที่สำหรับล่อเหยื่อ แต่เนื่องจากเมื่อเร็วๆ นี้เพิ่งจะเกิดพายุฤดูหนาวรุนแรง ทำให้ปลาจู๋เหล่านี้ถูกซัดขึ้นมาเกยชายหาด และแม้ว่าการปรากฏของปลาจู๋เหล่านี้จะเป็นเรื่องน่าตื่นตาตื่นใจในรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย แต่ปลาจู๋เหล่านี้มีให้เห็นทั่วไปในเกาหลีใต้ เนื่องจากนิยมนำไปทำเป็นอาหาร ซึ่งเชื่อว่าเป็นอาหารเสริมสมรรถภาพทางเพศได้เป็นอย่างดี
