จังหวัดเชียงรายประกาศความก้าวหน้าในการพัฒนา “เมืองแห่งการเรียนรู้” ด้วยการเปิดตัว 30 แหล่งเรียนรู้ต้นแบบ (Learning Spaces) ที่ครอบคลุม 6 มิติการเรียนรู้สำคัญ ตามแนวทางของ UNESCO Learning City โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อสร้างสังคมการเรียนรู้ที่เข้าถึงได้ทุกวัย ทุกพื้นที่ และทุกช่วงเวลา

เชียงรายเชื่อว่าการเรียนรู้ไม่จำกัดอยู่เพียงห้องเรียน แต่เกิดขึ้นได้จากผู้คน วิถีชีวิต ธรรมชาติ วัฒนธรรม และประสบการณ์รอบตัว ทั้งหมดนี้คือพลังสำคัญที่ช่วยขับเคลื่อนจังหวัดสู่การเป็นสมาชิกเครือข่ายเมืองแห่งการเรียนรู้ของยูเนสโกอย่างยั่งยืน

30 Learning Spaces – พื้นที่เรียนรู้เพื่อทุกคน

6 มิติของแหล่งเรียนรู้เชียงราย (6 Learning Dimensions)

1) ศิลปะ–สถาปัตยกรรม (Arts & Architecture) บ้านศิลปิน แกลเลอรี และสตูดิโอสร้างสรรค์ ที่เปิดให้ผู้มาเยือนได้สัมผัสงานศิลปะร่วมสมัย งานคราฟต์ล้านนา และการออกแบบเชิงทดลอง ผ่านกิจกรรมที่เรียนรู้ด้วยการลงมือทำ

2) อาหาร–ชา–กาแฟ (Culinary, Tea & Coffee) แหล่งเรียนรู้ด้านอาหารพื้นถิ่น ไร่ชา ไร่กาแฟ และฟาร์มภูเขาที่ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ตั้งแต่การปลูก การแปรรูป จนถึงอัตลักษณ์รสชาติของเมืองเชียงราย

3) ธรรมชาติ–การเกษตรยั่งยืน (Nature & Sustainable Agriculture) ชุมชนและฟาร์มต้นแบบที่สาธิตการใช้พื้นที่อย่างยั่งยืน การปลูกผักปลอดภัย และการพึ่งพาตนเองตามแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง ทำให้เห็นระบบอาหารจากต้นทางที่จับต้องได้จริง

4) ศาสนา–วัฒนธรรม–ประวัติศาสตร์ (Faith, Culture & Heritage) วัด เมืองเก่า และชุมชนชาติพันธุ์ที่ถ่ายทอดเรื่องเล่า ประเพณี และมรดกวัฒนธรรมล้านนา ช่วยให้ผู้มาเยือนเข้าใจรากฐานความเชื่อและตัวตนของเมืองเชียงรายอย่างลึกซึ้ง

5) วิถีชีวิต–ผ้าทอ–ชาติพันธุ์ (Lanna Lifestyle, Crafts & Ethnic Cultures) พื้นที่เรียนรู้จากผู้คนและงานฝีมือ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นผ้าทอล้านนา หัตถกรรมชนเผ่า หรือวิถีชีวิตบนดอย ทุกพื้นที่คือ “ห้องเรียนมีชีวิต” ที่สะท้อนอัตลักษณ์ของชุมชนอย่างแท้จริง

6) กีฬา–นันทนาการ–สุขภาพ (Sports, Recreation & Wellness) พื้นที่สีเขียว เส้นทางเดินป่า ศูนย์สมุนไพร และกิจกรรมออกกำลังกายที่ส่งเสริมสุขภาวะกาย–ใจ ผ่านการเชื่อมโยงธรรมชาติและภูมิปัญญาการดูแลสุขภาพแบบล้านนา

30 Learning Spaces ไม่เพียงรวบรวมแหล่งเรียนรู้ของจังหวัด แต่ยังวางรากฐานสำคัญสู่การเป็นเมืองที่สนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตอย่างแท้จริง  เชียงรายกำลังก้าวไปไกลกว่าเมืองท่องเที่ยว สู่อัตลักษณ์ใหม่ในฐานะ

“เมืองแห่งการเรียนรู้” ที่ผู้คนเติบโตไปพร้อมกับพื้นที่เรียนรู้รอบตัวได้ในทุกช่วงวัย

Chiang Rai Moves Toward “A Lifelong Learning City” with 30 Learning Spaces Across the Province

Chiang Rai has announced a major milestone in its journey toward becoming a UNESCO Learning City, with the launch of 30 model Learning Spaces that span six key learning dimensions. The initiative aims to build an inclusive learning society where people of all ages, in every community, can access meaningful learning opportunities anytime, anywhere.

Chiang Rai believes that learning extends far beyond classrooms—it emerges from people, local lifestyles, nature, culture, and everyday experiences. These elements form the foundation that propels the province toward long-term membership in the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities.

30 Learning Spaces – Inclusive Learning for Everyone

Six Learning Dimensions of Chiang Rai

1) Arts & Architecture
 Artist houses, galleries, and creative studios that open their spaces for hands-on learning in contemporary art, Lanna crafts, and design. These environments inspire youth and communities through experiential creativity.

2) Culinary, Tea & Coffee
 Learning spaces that showcase local food heritage, tea plantations, coffee farms, and mountain agriculture—offering insight into cultivation, processing, and the unique flavors that define Chiang Rai.

3) Nature & Sustainable Agriculture
 Organic farms and community-based agriculture models that demonstrate sustainable land use, water management, safe vegetable cultivation, and self-sufficiency based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.

4) Faith, Culture & Heritage
 Temples, ancient towns, and ethnic communities that preserve long-standing traditions, beliefs, languages, and cultural narratives—deepening understanding of Chiang Rai’s cultural identity.
